Mental Wellbeing in the Anthropocene — with Tori Tsui
Tori Tsui is an intersectional climate activist and communicator based in Bristol, UK. She recently sailed across the Atlantic Ocean as part of an environmental think-tank called Sail To The COP, where her journey was sponsored by the one-and-only, Stella McCartney.

On this episode of GAF Is The New Black, we explore mental wellbeing in the Anthropocene and how we can ensure all our activism is always inclusive and diverse.
Sustainable & Inclusive Fashion — with Aja Barber
Aja Barber is a writer, and a sustainability and intersectionality consultant living in London. Aja’s work centres around fashion, yet looking at it through the lenses of feminism, race, sustainability, ethics, social movements and politics (because yes folks, it’s all political).

A State Of Being
The excessive linear economy is causing considerable strain on our planet and her people. Yet in addition to this, it has also robbed us of the joy of conscious living. So how do we get out of this mess?
Jo Lorenz finds out how from Fanny Moizant, Co-Founder of Vestiaire Collective.
Do We Need A Pandemic For Low Impact Living?
Each and everyday, we are all inadvertently participating in societal disruption, the likes of which most of us have never seen. Forced into living low impact lives, COVID-19 has had a profound impact on the way we live, work and interact.
SPOILER ALERT: we don’t need a pandemic to achieve these things.
Entitlement Is A Pandemic
Entitlement (noun): the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment. Is our overbearing sense of entitlement feeding the coronavirus?
Stay The Fuck At Home
Science. Isn’t it rad? I mean just look at what can be achieved when world leaders and citizens alike actually listen to the likes of scientists! Yet why is it that so many earthlings and their self-aggrandising leaders — *coughs* Trump — are taking notice of this particular brand of science, yet not the scientific consensus of 99.99%* certainty that humans are causing global warming?
An Open Letter to Climate Deniers
Don’t believe in climate change science? Then stop benefiting from science when it suits your narrative.
Jo Lorenz pens a letter to climate change deniers . . .
The Future Is Indigenous
Watch the video of Bruce Shillingsworth, a Muruwari and Budjiti man of Australia’s north-west NSW river lands, talking about the impact Australia’s crippling drought is having on the Indigenous community who have been left voiceless. And then do something about it!
So You Have Your Period? Now Go Ahead And Save The World Too!
“How to save the planet on your period.” “Save the planet, ditch the tampon”.
These are just two of the links that popped up on the first page of Google when I searched for ‘zero waste period’ today. Am I the only one that thinks this capitalism is a little unfair?
But Like, What The Hell Is ‘Sustainability’?
One of the questions we get asked a lot is simply ‘what is sustainability?’ So buckle up kids, class is in session *adjusts reading specs and taps blackboard*
We Are Having The Wrong Revolution
Revolutions jam-pack the lifespan of a nation’s normal political cycle — both the highs and the lows — into a short period of time.
History tells us that ‘food’ and ‘justice’ (or lack thereof) are often the reasons driving revolutions - and if you couple that last sentence with the fact that 26 people are wealthier than the poorest 50% of the entire world, well, you can see why we have a problem.
Do Internet Trolls Actually Matter?
Ever had a conversation with what seems to be real person online, yet whose account is dubious at best. So what are these accounts? And the question is, do they really matter?
