History Does Not Repeat — But It Does Instruct
Today I finally read On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder — and quite frankly, it is a paralysing read within our current political landscape.
Clearly and factually analysing the terrifying likeness of Trump’s path to power, with that of the Third Reich, this book is the written equivalent of ten hungry lions roaring “hey guys, let’s go kill something!” in unison. How’s your coffee, Janice? We good?
The Growing Threat of White Nationalism
All forms of extremism are forged through fear, manipulation and an acute empathy deficit, as was so repulsively demonstrated by the recent massacre of 50 Muslims in Christchurch, New Zealand. Cowardly, self-serving world leaders continue to deny the rise of white nationalism and far-right extremism — which leaves us, the people, to demand the fundamental deliberative of equality, love and tolerance of ourselves.
The Religion of Climate Change
I am not a religious person. I do not believe a man called Jesus died for our sins and I do not believe a man called Moses parted the Red Sea. I do not believe a prophet called Muhammad was sent to confirm the monotheistic teachings, and I do not believe Zeus was the God of the sky and thunder.

Wait, what? Seriously?!
Let’s take a look at Pathological Narcissists throughout history, in order to navigate our present political climate.
Free Speech VS Fake News
When petulant politicians openly defame the press and high-profile figures for exercising their Freedom of Speech privilege, there are dangerous domestic and international ramifications. So what is Free Speech, really?
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Did you know that breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women and approx 1 in 1000 men?
Fashion Revolution Week
We've all been guilty of fast fashion crimes. The notion of finding that bargain — of trumping the system! — appeals to each of us. But at what cost?
A Coffee With Feminism
Feminism. Everyone knows her. Everyone talks about her. She’s been on the cover of TIME magazine three times now. Yet to many people she’s still the other-other ‘F’ word.
We sat down with Feminism . . .
